PRIVACY POLICY
1. What this is — digitickets.pk is a ticketing platform. We connect event organisers in Pakistan with people buying tickets to their shows, and handle payment collection, wallet passes, gate scanning, and — where an organiser has opted in — WhatsApp messaging on their behalf. This policy covers the personal data we (digitickets.pk) collect and process directly.
2. What we collect — when you buy a ticket, sign up as an organiser, or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, and email address. When you pay, our payment processor (EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or the USDT gateway) shares the transaction status and amount with us — we don't see or store your card, bank, or wallet credentials. If you message our WhatsApp number, we store that conversation (the messages themselves and your WhatsApp number) so our team can see and reply to it.
3. Why we collect it — to issue and deliver your ticket/wallet pass, verify it at the gate, process refunds, send order and event updates (by SMS, email, or WhatsApp), and to run the organiser side of the platform (payouts, event management, verifier access). We don't sell your personal data to anyone, and we don't use it for advertising.
4. WhatsApp — if you message us or an organiser messages you through digitickets.pk's WhatsApp number, that conversation is handled through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta processes the message in transit under its own terms; we store the message content and your number on our servers to show it in our support inbox and let our team reply.
5. Who we share it with — the event organiser you bought a ticket from (so they can run their event and handle gate entry), our payment processors (to process the transaction), and Meta (to send/receive WhatsApp messages), each only to the extent needed for that purpose. We don't share your data with anyone else without your consent, except where required by law.
6. How long we keep it — we keep ticket, order, and account data for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period after, to handle disputes, refunds, and our own accounting/legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below), subject to records we're legally required to keep.
7. Your choices — you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data, by emailing support@digitickets.pk. We'll action deletion requests except where we need to retain something for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
8. Security — we use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls) to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us immediately.
9. Changes — we may update this policy as the platform changes. Continuing to use digitickets.pk after an update means you accept the current version.
